During NJPW New Beginning in Osaka, Rey Mysterio issued a challenge to Jushin Thunder Liger at the upcoming Strong Style Evolved event on March 25th in Long Beach, CA.

Mysterio and Liger previously had a match against each other at the 1996 WCW Starrcade PPV.
