Brie Bella was trying to get Daniel Bryan to “build his brand,” he wasn’t buying it. In fact, he actually has a decent following and was well-known enough being who he is that PETA gave him grief for carrying around a leather WWE Title. This is one of the biggest reasons why Bryan was able to get his own custom belt. He was honestly receiving hate and some threatening messages because the WWE Title is usually leather.
No matter how long Daniel Bryan remains WWE Champion, he is sticking around WWE for another three years.
