It was added that his return is targeted to take place at the Raw TV event on July 8th in Newark, NJ with pending medical clearance. The expectation is that Mysterio should return around that time.
He’s been out of action due to a separated an acromioclavicular joint in his shoulder. The injury happened in his latest match under the WWE banner, which was at the WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view event against Samoa Joe. Mysterio had to vacate the title.
Mysterio appeared at a WWE event last week in San Diego, which is his hometown, for a brief confrontation with Joe.
