Ciampa noted on his official Twitter account in a new post that that six months ago on Saturday he had neck surgery. He wrote the following:
“Today marks exactly 6 months since neck surgery. I’m no stranger to this game. We can rebuild him. We have the technology. We can make him better than he was. Better. Stronger. Faster. #TheReturn #TickTock #2X”
Ciampa has made it known in previous interviews that he feels that he never lost the title and rightful so due to him suffering a neck injury that ultimately led to him getting surgery and relinquishing the NXT Title in March.
As of this writing, there’s still no word yet on when he’ll return to action.
