Finn Balor Becomes #1 Contender, Big NXT Episode Set For Next Week

Finn Balor became the number 1 contender for the NXT Championship and he will challenge Adam Cole for the title on next week’s show.


Tonight's NXT show saw Balor win a Triple Threat main event over Tommaso Ciampa and Keith Lee to become the new #1 contender to Cole.

As noted, WWE previously announced Rhea Ripley vs. NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler for next week's episode, which will be the final new episode until January 8, 2020.

NXT will be up against a huge episode of AEW Dynamite so it will be interesting to see if both shows get a boost in the ratings.
