Triple H Congratulates Io Shirai, Adam Cole Adam Cole and Triple H Comment on The Backlot Brawl

As noted, tonight's NXT "Takeover: In Your House" saw Adam Cole retain over The Velveteen Dream in a Backlot Brawl.



Cole tweeted after the match and touted the latest win in his year-plus title reign.

He wrote, "Battered, bruised, bloody...but when the NXT Championship is on the line... Adam Cole > ANYBODY #Forever"

Triple H also tweeted after the match and wrote, "The Undisputed ERA continues.... #NXTTakeOver #NXTChampionship"

Takeover also saw Io Shirai capture the NXT Women's Title by defeating Rhea Ripley and former champion Charlotte Flair.

Triple H took to Twitter after the match and congratulated Shirai.
